Snowy Mooncake Black Sesame and Red Bean Paste 黑芝麻紅豆蓉

This is a super easy filling for Snowy Mooncakes. I use store-bought red bean paste which I find very sweet. Adding black sesame powder and some butter adds really good aroma and cuts the sweetness.
This recipe makes approx. 420g. You can make 21 Snowy Mooncakes 50g each; based on 25g skin, 5g yolk and 20g Black Sesame Red Bean Paste filling. If you want to make your mooncake a different size, adjust the ingredients accordingly.
