On the night before, soak 10g of peach resin in 2 cups of water. Let it soak overnight
There will be little twigs or stones in the resin that need to be removed. Prepare a fish bone remover or tweezers, a bowl of water to rinse the tweezers and a clean container.
Take some of the resin into the palm of your hand and remove the debris from the resin and put the debris into the bowl of water. The cleaned resin goes into the clean container. Continue until the resin is completely clear of foreign materials
Rinse the resin and pour it through a sieve and let the water drain
Peel and cut the Asian pears into halves Alternatively, you can also dice the Asian pears
Make a “V” cut to remove the top and bottom ends of the core
Use a melon baller to scoop out the middle of the core
Put the 4 halves of the Asian pears and the cleaned peach resin into a pot
Pour 1L of water over the pears.
Turn heat to medium-high until the water boils, then reduce the heat to low and cook for 20 minutes
After 20 minutes, flip the Asian pears over and cook for another 25 minutes
After 25 minutes, add 4 tbsp of honey and mix well. Taste and add more honey if necessary
Serve I added cranberries to the picture with the diced Asian pears
