Auntie Emilys Kitchen-Asian Pear Peach Resin Sweet Soup

Asian Pear Peach Resin Sweet Soup 雪梨桃膠糖水

I wanted to make this Asian Pear Peach Resin Sweet Soup as simple as possible. But if you have time, you can add a few more things:
• Lotus nuts
• White fungus
• Figs
• Honey dates
• Goji berries
Instead of honey, you can also use cane rock sugar or coconut sugar.
After you’ve cooked it, you can add some dried cranberries and coconut jelly for added flavor and texture!

  • There will be little twigs or stones in the resin that need to be removed. Prepare a fish bone remover or tweezers, a bowl of water to rinse the tweezers and a clean container.

  • Take some of the resin into the palm of your hand and remove the debris from the resin and put the debris into the bowl of water. The cleaned resin goes into the clean container. Continue until the resin is completely clear of foreign materials
  • Rinse the resin and pour it through a sieve and let the water drain
